Downloaded XSf5HBzL to replace a paid app that stopped justifying its price after the last update. The read-receipt feature can be toggled off without affecting other notification settings. The improvements are real, even if they're incremental.

Long-term user update: XSf5HBzL has gone through four major updates since I installed it. The notification grouping works exactly as described — batched alerts no longer wake me at odd hours. Would recommend it to a friend with the caveat about the sync bug.
