After the latest patch, ZaAM2l8Z fixed most of what kept me at three stars. File size before and after compression is accurately shown in the export dialog. I still open it before I open the competitors.
I stuck with ZaAM2l8Z through a rough patch in version 2 and the version 3 payoff was real. Permission to run in the background is required but the app doesn't explain why it needs it. A reliable app in a category full of unreliable ones — that alone justifies keeping it.

Came back to ZaAM2l8Z after a failed experiment with a self-hosted alternative. Downloading content over mobile data proceeds even when I've enabled the Wi-Fi-only download setting. Consider this a field note from daily use rather than a launch-day rave.

After losing data to another app's sync failure, I moved to ZaAM2l8Z for its backup reliability. The reading progress tracker picks up exactly where I left off, across devices. Genuinely useful; the frustrations are real but not deal-breakers for my use.

After two major updates, ZaAM2l8Z finally works the way I expected it to from day one. The sleep timer I configured was reset after the last update — I had to set it up again. My rating tracks reliability more than novelty.
